Bodeguita del Medio |
That day I walked down to the street and didn’t have any aim to see something special. The thing is when you are coming to Cuba everything becomes special: sexy smoking ladies, street food, coffee, money, dance, drinks…
Havana Vieja in translation is Old Havana. In every corner of the
buildings in every end of the streets I felt I am part of this city and I want
to live this two weeks deeply in this culture.
I heard loud laughing voices, then I saw singing men, I knew
I found it! La Bodeguita del Medio!
First impression from this building is history: my favorite
writer Hemingway left print here. The most powerful people were here and
everyone marked this place with signature or picture. Hundreds, thousands of
patterns.
Coming to the bar you can easily be friends with bartenders
or if you need your own space to think then you can go upstairs to the second
floor and think about eternity while drinking the best Mojito in the world.
That's how it looks like. The entrance. |
