Cuba. Havana. Doors

Doors in Havana take special place. Behind them is real life with many destinies. Once you will go down to the streets you will see variety of buildings and the best parts in it: doors.

As you may know Havana was built by Spanish in 16 century. Most of the buildings are in baroque and neoclassic style. The reason why I devoted an entire article is the a variety of architectural elements of the doors. Once you will be in Havana Vieja I will recommend to take time and go down the streets of Old Havana.

Cuba. Viñales

Hello my friends!

If you want to see beautiful places of Cuba I will highly recommend you to go to Viñales, especially if you have pair. It will be very romantic trip for you both. Stunning view and original piña colada cocktail will make your day! Perfect place to express the most deep feelings.

Ask locals where you can buy tours because if you are in Havana Vieja (Old Havana) you should try hard to find sellers. As a rule they are in central Hotels. Tour will take around 5 hours one way.

Cuba. Bodeguita del Medio

Bodeguita del Medio

That day I walked down to the street and didn’t have any aim to see something special. The thing is when you are coming to Cuba everything becomes special: sexy smoking ladies, street food, coffee, money, dance, drinks…

Havana Vieja in translation is Old Havana. In every corner of the buildings in every end of the streets I felt I am part of this city and I want to live this two weeks deeply in this culture.

I heard loud laughing voices, then I saw singing men, I knew I found it! La Bodeguita del Medio!

First impression from this building is history: my favorite writer Hemingway left print here. The most powerful people were here and everyone marked this place with signature or picture. Hundreds, thousands of patterns.

Coming to the bar you can easily be friends with bartenders or if you need your own space to think then you can go upstairs to the second floor and think about eternity while drinking the best Mojito in the world.
